Victim Support help anyone affected by crime – the victim, friends and family or others involved. You can get help at anytime regardless of when the crime took place. Victim Support help you to:

  1. Feel safe and secure.
  2. Understand your rights and services you’re entitled to.
  3. Explore ways to cope.
  4. Connect you to support networks.

Victim Care Merseyside provide free and confidential support for all victims of crime.

Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Merseyside is for anyone that has been sexually abused or raped or who has been affected by sexual violence. They provide specialist support, counselling, help and information for those affected.

Safe Place Merseyside is a sexual assault referral centre. They offer forensic medical examination services for both males and females who have been sexually assaulted. They  provide emergency contraception and preventative treatments for sexually transmitted infections (STI’s).

Safer Streets Merseyside aims to address sexual offences and unwanted sexual behavior across transport routes within Merseyside and Liverpool City Centre. It aims to provide reassurance to women and girls, and increase feelings and perceptions of public safety on public transport.

The North West SAAS (Strategic Direction for Sexual Assault and Abuse Services) Partner Network is made up of representatives from organizations who are responsible for commissioning sexual assault and abuse services. The aim of this website is to raise awareness of the support services available to victims of sexual violence and provide a digital directory of services.

Community mental health teams (CMHTs) work with people with severe and enduring mental health issues as well as those with less severe illness.
