On this page, you will find local resources designed to support families caring for victims of sexual or violent crimes in Oxfordshire.

Victim Support help anyone affected by crime – the victim, friends and family or others involved. You can get help at anytime regardless of when the crime took place. Victim Support help you to:

  1. Feel safe and secure.
  2. Understand your rights and services you’re entitled to.
  3. Explore ways to cope.
  4. Connect you to support networks.

Victims First  makes sure that all victims of crime receive the support they need to cope and recover from the impact of their crime. They offer telephone support, face to face support, advocacy (help to access other services) and therapeutic counselling.

OSARCC support survivors of sexual abuse, rape, domestic abuse, and harassment. They offer a free and confidential service to survivors who are dealing with the effects of sexual violence, and to anyone who is supporting them.

a2dominion provide domestic abuse support services. Trained staff offer confidential advice and guidance as well as practical support and emotional support.

Safe! provide support to children and families around the Thames Valley who have been affected by crime or abuse through one-to-one and group sessions.

Thames Valley Partnership provide support for those impacted by the criminal justice system.

Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership is provided by the NHS and offer a range of interventions to get people back into employment, education, stable accommodation, and support them to build relationships.
